This blog is hopefully a tool that will allow me to document my culinary experiments and recipes as well as compiling information and techniques that I have picked up throughout my own reading and research. I have a scientific background, so I think this has shaped my approach to cooking and the people I look up to (pioneers such as Heston Blumenthal, Ferran Adria and Harold McGee).
